Old Bedstonians Society

Bedstone was founded by R J (Reg) Rees and his wife Joan in 1948. The Old Bedstonian Society began in 1956. Membership of the Society is open to all ex-Bedstonian pupils, academic staff and/or houseparents. (More details in the Society’s Rules – see Committee). Old Bedstonians’ Day is always the third Saturday in November when the school hosts an open day and accommodates our Annual General Meeting (see News and Committee for more details)

We also organise annual/dinner lunch events (see News for more details.)

We produce an annual Newsletter which is made available to members on this site and is also available free of charge (for details see News).

We support Bedstone by making donations to Caritas the school charity and we work closely with the Friends of Bedstone founded and operated by staff and parents of children at the school. To contact the Friends please go to Links.

We organise a number of events during the year – including events with the Friends of Bedstone. For details of forthcoming events please go to News.

We maintain a Directory of Members see Directory (you will need a password to access this page, go to Contact Us if you need to update your details) and we welcome contact with Old Bedstonians who have lost touch with us. There are about 1000 of them!
